At Last! ASUU Gets A Better Deal of N1.1trillion From Jonathan

At Last! ASUU Gets A Better Deal of N1.1trillion From Jonathan

Details of the Monday/Tuesday marathon meeting between President Goodluck Jonathan and the leadership of the Academic Staff Union of Universities have begun to emerge.
“The meeting should be the longest that we have ever had on this crisis but I can tell you that both parties were frank all through the discussions.
“The parties also showed commitment towards ending the crisis. The President in particular showed that he was serious about ending the strike and that was why he offered to release over N1tn to the universities in the next five years."
Punch gathered on Tuesday evening that a key component of the agreement reached by the parties was that the Federal Government would inject N1.1tn into public universities in the next five years.

A reliable source, who made this known, also hinted that the strike would be called

Watch Photos Of Don Jazzy's Mother

Photos Of Don Jazzy's Mother

This is probably the first time the picture of Don Jazzy's mum is coming out on the net. I think Don Jazzy really look like his mum. I hear she is based in Dublin and was a special guest at the wedding of QuestionMark boss, Kevin Lucciano-Gabriel, in UK recently.

While searching for these photos, I stumbled on another one. See it below:

So, is this other Iya Don Jazzy an impostor or what?

Wande Coal Rubbishes Don Jazzy's "Lies" With The Real Song

The controversy between Don Jazzy and Wande Coal is really getting interesting. Don Jazzy made it sound as if he actually wrote a complete song and Wande Coal raided his studio and stole the song. But latest info has shown that it is Wande's song that was produced by Don Jazzy but the production was not good enough hence it did not come out from the studio then.

Wande has released the real version he did with Don Jazzy. Listen to the song here http://www.hulkshare.com/wandecoalblackdiamond/babyface-roff-1  and get the drama...

Also, another produce, Shizzi (real name Sheyi Akerele) has accused Don Jazzy of actually stealing the credit of one of Wande Coal's music from him and

Dele Momodu's Exposé On Jonathan's Journey To Israel

Our dear President, allow me to personally welcome you back from Jerusalem, a place regarded as heaven on earth by Christians. I’m certainly persuaded that, like me, you must have fantasized a lot about that monumental city while growing up as a Sunday school pupil in your church. I still vividly recollect that the place was made popular by the triumphant entry of our Lord Jesus Christ. I used to picture in my mind the kind of tumultuous and overzealous religious crowd that must have welcomed the very young Jesus who performed so many spectacular miracles, the sort we’ve never seen again.

But despite the big reception he got, Jesus did not indulge those who had turned the temple into a market place. He chased them out because, according to him, they had turned it into a den of thieves, just like some politicians have turned Nigeria into a colony of armed robbers at this moment.

This is one lesson I hope you brought back on this trip.

I’ve never been to Jerusalem, or anywhere near Israel for that matter, but your visit has generated enough hoopla and substantial attention that I can’t wait to board the next plane ASAP to go on my own pilgrimage. Such is the awesome influence of a President, more so that of Africa’s most populous nation.

Sir, you cannot blame them for this cynical attitude. Most Nigerians today are generally stressed and would pounce on anyone for sweet revenge. They have largely traced their misery to the lack of good governance. While they might not be able to hold you personally responsible for these woes, they think you’ve have not shown sufficient capacity and determination to lead us out of the doldrums and the suffocating quagmire we’ve buried ourselves in. It is that lack of trust that has permeated all the negative attacks that you tend to get with regularity these days. Going to Israel at this time was therefore seen as another wasteful jamboree of no useful gain other than a photo opportunity to distract the people from the many terrible problems confronting them.

Since you’re not likely to be properly and truthfully briefed by your friends and aides about the real reactions of the people, please let me volunteer to tell you

Exposé On Goodluck Jonathan’s Wasteful Pilgrimage To Israel

Goodluck Jonathan’s Wasteful Pilgrimage To Israel exposed

The recent pilgrimage jamboree embarked on by President Goodluck Jonathan and some State governors is a sad reminder that our public officials are not ready to push religion into the private sphere where it rightly belongs. It is also another high point of an unwarranted waste of public funds; a deepening of the culture of profligacy more than being an exercise in piety.

It is a wrong step to continue to spend public funds on jaunts, especially at a time when government is claiming to be short of cash. Staging an ostentatious show at a time that calls for sobriety, the President turned a purely personal religious affair into a state matter, taking with him several governors, cabinet members and other government officials.

This is definitely not the answer to successful governance...
The argument that Nigeria signed a Bilateral Air Services Agreement with Israel during the trip is puerile and insulting. BASA is an assignment that a minister can discharge on behalf of the country; and in this case, it was actually the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Viola Onwuliri, that signed on Nigeria’s behalf. A deputy foreign affairs minister signed on Israel’s behalf. The public deserve to know how much of taxpayers’ money was committed to the trip. It is time our public officials stopped unnecessary religious jamborees at public expense.
Instead of observing our religious diversity, the federal, state and local governments have been serially violating the 1999 Constitution by committing

Atiku recounts how He blasted Obasenjo

How I Blasted Obasanjo Inside His Office ––Atiku Talks Tough

Former Vice-President of Nigeria, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has revealed that he “blasted” his boss, President Olusegun Obasanjo over his bid to run for a second term.
Atiku made the disclosure during an interview
with a newspaper published in Hausa.
“At first we started arguing, and then he (Obasanjo) opened his drawer and brought out a copy of the Quran and asked me to swear that I will not be disloyal to him. There was nothing I did not tell him in that room. The first thing I told him was that I swore with the Quran to defend the Constitution of Nigeria. And then I questioned him,
